Notes

The people who are always looking for something to be offended over, claim the term "Digger" is offensive. The term didn't refer to a specific group of Indians, nor was it exclusively used for Indians. This term is not unlike the term "Yankee". However, in that case, the people leaned into the name, which neutralized any "suffering". It is unfortunate that society keeps pushing certain people groups to allow mere words to hold such power over them.
